Senior Brand Strategist (m/f/d)

designaffairs is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist (m/f/d) to join our Shanghai studio. We’re looking for talents who can creatively apply their extensive knowledge of all things Brand, Design and Business to help our clients bring truly disruptive products and services to the market. We have the ambition of elevating human capabilities and experiences through our design work. In this role you are part consultant, researcher, and hands-on creative.  

We are looking for a person who is passionate about all things brand, someone who has the ability to read, interpret and self-develop brand(ing). Who loves to design and craft from zero new brand values, identities or shape and evolve existing brands to position them for the future develop go-to-market strategies that will inspire confidence with our clients and empower them to bring to market truly disruptive products and services. Our team will rely on you to be our in-house expert on all things brand and marketing. 


You will push both our clients and our internal team to realize the transformational potential of intersecting human-centered, design with emotive and impactful branding. Your impact will come through ensuring our clients maximize the potential of having both a great brand, great products and great services. This person should have a deep knowledge and experience of quantitive and qualitative market research, user research, brand analysis, brand design (brand wheels, brand archetypes), strategic frameworks and go-to market strategies. You should also be highly aware of how culture and context can impact consumer perception. You are a master of finding the angle of the story that will resonate and inspire your audience. We are open to how you demonstrate your past project experience, but we really wish to see your passion for the subject matter and hear how you envisage the future. At designaffairs it is very important to us that you engage with the creative process and are passionate about the needs of people.
